Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
A huge thank you must go to everyone from our school community for their outstanding support for the Stand by Me - February on the Floor campaign. As a school, we have raised a superb £1160 which will go towards beds and bedding supplies for people living in Africa. A presentation to the charity will be made at their next visit to school for an assembly.
Also, don't forget to check out the picture below to see some well-known faces who spent a night on the floor in support of the campaign. For more information on the excellent work of Stand by Me and how the money raised will be spent, you can visit the website at the address below.

We were delighted to welcome the Minister for Education, Mrs Michelle McIlveen, to our school today to meet the NI100 Art Competition Key Stage winners and to help us plant our NI Centenary tree.
The Minister and her team were all very impressed with the artwork on display and loved talking to the pupils about their pieces. All Key Stage winners have had their entries submitted to the finals that will be judged by an expert panel to determine the overall winners.
In the school's mini-forest, the Minister was given an insight into the Forest School's activities being enjoyed by the P4's. The pupils told the minister all the things they have been learning about with Mrs Weir and how they spend time each week exploring such a beautiful natural space and even learning some important survival skills!!
Finally, our P7 House Captains were introduced to Mrs McIlveen who helped them plant the NI Centenary tree. The Captains told her of the special day they had had when picking their tree with help from the Duke and Duchess of Wessex.
Overall, our pupils have done our school so proud with each and every one of them conducting themselves in such a mannerly and polite way at all times.
At 11 o'clock today, our school paused to remember all those service men and women who gave their lives for us. The school's house captains led today's special assembly impecably and can be so proud of how they conducted themselves on such an important occasion.
Moyallon PS in conjunction with the Portadown Rotary Club have been successful with our application for a remote learning resources grant from the ABC Council. You can apply to school to receive one of the iPads if you meet the following criteria:
- Your child is a pupil of Moyallon PS
- Your child does not have access to a device (computer/laptop/tablet) that would enable them to engage with remote learning as required by Moyallon PS within normal school hours
iPads will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

A huge thank you goes to all who have contributed to the mammoth task of putting this video together. Also, a particular thank you must go to our P7 teacher, Mr Blakely, who expertly managed the editing and uploading of the final cut. He has contributed more hours to this project than anyone else and I am sure you will agree that the end product is an amazing piece of work for everyone in our school to enjoy.
