World War 2

Last Thursday P4 travelled to the Palace Stables for a World War 2 themed Day.

We met an evacuation officer who explained about rationing and being evacuated.

We also visited an Anderson Shelter and made identity cards and evacuation labels.

We cracked a code with an American soldier and practised marching and handling a weapon.

We really enjoyed our trip and we were ready for our rations at he end of so many exciting activities. A big thankyou to the Palace Stables and all the staff!
