We were so proud of Primary 7 who led our Harvest Assembly so well.
Through poem and song they reminded everyone of God's care for us and of our responsibility to care for others. Their Singing Group sang a new song 'Amazing God' so beautifully. Thank you Mrs Moag for all your help in preparing the class.
Chloe, representing IJM told us about Gideon, the first boy rescued from Lake Volta.
I want to say a huge and heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave so generously to our IJM Harvest Appeal. The final total was an amazing £1900!
Many of our pupils chose to give their own money - we are especially proud of them!
Your donations will go a long way in Ghana, providing food, clothing, medical supplies, trauma counselling etc for boys and girls rescued from the Lake.
Through our links with IJM we've been able to cover aspects of the PDMU curriculum such as feelings, fairness and justice, by introducing children to the problem of modern day slavery in an age appropriate way.
We had a memorable 2019 Harvest Assembly.
